Publications can be particularly challenging, as space permitted to relay information is finite; the dimensions clearly set. Font selection and typography are imperative. How your text looks and flows will directly effect the viewers' connection to the piece, and their ability to process details. Image selection and placement are equally important. Any images selected must complement the text and offer additional interest to the reader; without adversely affecting text flow or causing undue distraction. If your publication includes advertisements, they must be given prime real estate without disrupting regular content. A careful balance between text and image elements must be observed to facilitate interest and comprehension.
